As we are driving along Wendy closes her eyes when we are on the mountain roads. There are red diamond signs on short poles by the side of the road which indicate where the road surface has broken up or buckled. I only seem to see them with about 1 second to spare, just in time to shout ‘hold on’, and then we kangaroo along for 200 metres until the suspension calms down, and the crockery is back in its cradles. Did I mention that adrenalin is brown and smells of poo?
