We have moved on from Nelson and have travelled to the Okanagan valley. We went through Grand Forks which was a bit dull, and stayed overnight in Osoyoos which is in Canadas only desert. Stayed in a great campground owned by First Nation people (modern name for Indians) and it was superb. Had an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, games room, about 60 cable tv channels and electric hook up, all for $21 !
I was offered a job by the cowboy staying next to us, making floating pontoons for the lakes. He has 3 to do this summer and it sounded quite lucrative and fun. We are thinking if we dont find anything else it might be a good fall back position. I said I’d let him know when we get back from Mexico.
